The RUHS CUET Counselling 2026 is a multi-round centralized online allocation system. Managed by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), it determines admissions for various UG health science and paramedical programs across the state based on CUET scores and category ranks.

The counselling typically consists of Round 1, Round 2 (Upward Movement), and a Mop-up Round (for any remaining vacant seats). Candidates must actively participate, register online, and submit their college preferences to be considered for a seat.

Detailed Step-by-Step Counselling Process

To secure a seat in the participating colleges, candidates must carefully follow the online process:

• Step 1: Online Registration & Profile Creation: Visit the official RUHS portal and register using your CUET application number, valid email ID, and mobile number. Fill in your personal, academic, and category details carefully.
• Step 2: Payment of Counselling Fee: A non-refundable registration and part-tuition fee (typically Rs 2800/-) must be paid online via Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card to activate your choice-filling options.
• Step 3: Choice Filling & Priority Locking: This is the most crucial step. Select your preferred colleges and courses in decreasing order of priority. You can add, remove, and reorder choices until the deadline. Ensure you lock your choices before the window closes, otherwise, the last saved preferences will be auto-locked.
• Step 4: Seat Allotment Result: RUHS will process the choices based on your CUET merit rank, category reservations, and seat availability. The provisional allotment letter will be published on your dashboard.
• Step 5: Document Verification & Reporting: If allotted a seat, download the allotment letter and physically report to the designated college within the stipulated time. Submit your original documents for verification and pay the remaining tuition fees to confirm admission.

Upward Movement (Round 2 Counselling)

If a candidate is not satisfied with the seat allotted in Round 1, they have the option to apply for Upward Movement (Round 2).

• Eligibility: Candidates who have reported to their Round 1 allotted college and completed the admission formalities can opt for Upward Movement.
• Process: You will need to submit a fresh set of choices for higher-preference colleges. Your Round 1 seat remains safe until a new, higher-priority seat is allotted.
• Allotment: If a new seat is allocated during Upward Movement, the previous Round 1 seat is automatically cancelled, and the candidate must report to the newly allotted college.
• No Fresh Registration: Generally, candidates who registered in Round 1 do not need to pay the registration fee again for Round 2.
